Bridger Ogden, SUDC

Bridger Ogden has dedicated over two decades to the field of substance use recovery, making substantial contributions as a counselor, program director, and clinical director. His commitment was sparked over 20 years ago in a youth residential treatment center, leading him to obtain a license as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor in 2009. His experience spans a wide range of treatment settings, with a particular affection for wilderness treatment.

Bridger currently serves as the Outpatient Director at Liberty Addiction Recovery Centers where, since December 2020, he maintains a close connection with all the outpatient clients to assist them in their recovery, manages the outpatient staff, and develops and manages the outpatient program and curriculum. Prior to this, he served in various leadership roles at recovery institutions, where he showcased his ability to effectively counsel clients, coordinate with other health professionals, market and promote businesses, and oversee the day-to-day client experience.

Between 2014 and 2016, he held a position on the Board of Directors for the Association of Utah Substance Abuse Professionals, where he worked with professionals in Utah to address recovery support needs in their communities.

Throughout his career, Bridger has developed an approach that encompasses counseling clients to assist in overcoming dependencies and supporting their families. He has also been responsible for developing client treatment plans based on research, clinical experience, and client histories. He has shown his administrative skills through managing and training staff, enhancing the operation of the facilities he has worked at.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Bridger has a deep passion for the outdoors and coaching football. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children in his spare time. He currently coaches high school football in the country’s first all-girls tackle football league, demonstrating his commitment to serving and empowering his community.

Bridger’s journey in the recovery field is not just a career but a personal mission. He believes in the power of his recovery journey and is committed to giving back to the community. With his comprehensive experience and empathetic approach, Bridger continues to significantly impact substance use recovery.
