Jeff Lyon

Jeff Lyon is the Co-founder/COO of Liberty Addiction Recovery Centers, and has devoted his career to providing essential support for individuals journeying through recovery. With his extensive experience and innate ability to understand the needs of his clients, Jeff manages the marketing and admission process for both inpatient and outpatient programs, ensuring every client receives the right care for their unique needs.

Jeff utilizes his expertise and personable skills to cultivate effective relationships with outpatient programs, detox centers, hospitals, and prison release entities throughout Utah. His commitment to providing a seamless transition from residential treatment to sober living has been instrumental in ensuring the long-term success of Liberty’s clients.

In addition to his role at Liberty, Jeff founded and currently serves as President of Pivot Point Sober Living. Since 2014, he has established five properties offering up to 80 beds for clients in the early stages of recovery. These properties, under Jeff’s careful management, provide safe and regulated accommodations, complete with house managers and regular drug testing.

Jeff graduated of the University of Utah and is a proud family man. He is happily married with seven children, which further fuels his passion and commitment. Jeff Lyon is an embodiment of perseverance, empathy, and dedication, relentlessly working to improve the landscape of recovery support in Utah and beyond.

Courtney’s extensive experience includes serving as a Clinical Therapist at various reputable institutions, including the Renaissance Ranch Women’s Center and The Phoenix Recovery & Counseling Centers. In these roles, she honed her skills in developing, documenting, and implementing treatment plans and facilitated various psychoeducational and process groups. She managed caseloads of 12-20 clients, and her exceptional work led to improved patient outcomes and enhanced support for families and healthcare providers.

Her skill set includes EMDR therapy, a specialty she’s been trained in since 2018, which she uses to address trauma and other underlying core issues that may contribute to substance abuse and mental health conditions.

One of Courtney’s most notable roles was as a Clinical Therapist at the Utah State Prison, where she provided therapy for substance abuse treatment to male inmates, managing the clinical treatment in a therapeutic community. She conducted group therapy sessions, developed individualized treatment plans based on client goals, and communicated client progress, evaluations, and recommendations to the Board of Parole.

Her contributions to the field are characterized by her dedication to improving lives, strengthening communities, and shaping the future of addiction recovery.
